Each year, UCI Libraries award four UC Irvine undergraduate students with the Nellie Ansley Reeves Awards for their outstanding senior theses. Presented at the annual Campuswide Honors Collegium Banquet, the awards are accompanied by a $250 prize.
The Nellie Ansley Reeves Award Endowment was established by Nellie Ansley Reeves, a generous supporter and friend of the UCI Libraries until her passing in 2000. For more than 25 years, the endowment has funded prizes to UCI students to honor Reeves’ wish to involve students in scholarly research and writing.
UCI Libraries invite you to celebrate Pride Month with the help of our resources. Learn about key LGBTQ+ milestones and figures at UC Irvine, in Orange County, and beyond. Our research guides and archival collections document political, social, and cultural movements throughout the twentieth century and up to the present day. Also enjoy books, films, and art created by LGBTQ+ artists and honoring the community.*

Now through May 31, 2024, the exhibit Healing and (Re)Building Connection Through Art will be on display in Langson Library. The first installation in the UCI Libraries’ Student Displays Pilot Program, the student exhibit features artwork inspired by a fall 2023 UC Irvine travel course to Mexico on undocumented immigrant experiences taught by Laura E. Enriquez, UCI associate professor of Chicano/Latino studies.
While the UCI Libraries carry and subscribe to a vast collection of books and scholarly resources, a large selection of equipment, gadgets, and apparatuses are also available to check out at no additional cost.
