On the evening of September 12, 2018, the UCI Libraries hosted a book talk with Andrew J. Policano, Ph.D., former dean of the UCI Paul Merage School of Business and the Dean's Leadership Circle Endowed Professor Emeritus of Economics/Public Policy at The Paul Merage School of Business. Referencing his two books, From Ivory Tower to Glass House: Strategies for Academic Leaders During Turbulent Times and Public No More: A New Path to Excellence for America's Public Universities; Dr. Policano discussed the costs of public education and the impact of public support to a full crowd in the Langson Library Roger C. Holden Faculty and Graduate Student Reading Room.

The presentation was followed by a reception and book signing.
